KidZania at R City is a child-sized role-play city designed around trying different jobs. It works best as the main event of a day, with children choosing what interests them rather than adults trying to complete a checklist. The operator identifies ages 4–16 as the principal role-play audience and publishes separate toddler options. Its Mumbai pages include activity maps, scheduled activities and temporarily closed establishments. Check these before buying: a much-anticipated activity is not guaranteed just because it appears in an old review. Pricing can vary by duration, category and special-event date.
Core role-play programme: ages 4–16 according to the operator. Toddlers have a separate category and limited age-appropriate activities. Children below eight must be accompanied by a ticketed adult.
Role-play visits work better when children know that choosing and waiting are part of the experience, rather than expecting every job in one day.
Let each child identify the role they most want to try, then check the current activity board. A small shared plan prevents the day becoming a race between every attractive storefront.
Siblings may want different activities or have different age eligibility. Before entering, agree who stays with whom and where to regroup so the family is not negotiating supervision at the front of a queue.
Extra ticket hours are useful only if children have energy to use them. Plan a food pause before frustration builds and keep the final activity flexible rather than measuring success by the number of completed jobs.
KidZania works best when children understand the idea before they enter: choose a role, wait for a session, follow the activity and decide what to try next. It is a different experience from wandering between arcade machines.
The Mumbai site offers role-play experiences rather than conventional amusement rides. Let each child choose a priority, then compare the queue and session board on arrival. Avoid a promise to complete every profession: time spent waiting and moving between establishments is still part of your ticket window.
KidZania explicitly marks its Radio Jockey activity as available in Mumbai as well as Delhi NCR. Children practise speaking, listening and recording a segment in a simulated radio studio. The listed activity lasts 25 minutes, excluding waiting time. A shy child can rehearse a short introduction with you before joining; this is a role-play, not a promise of a real broadcast.
The Mumbai map page specifically names the hospital, Dental Health Clinic and Family Health Clinic as examples of medical-interest role-plays. Use these as choices to investigate when you arrive, rather than treating every health activity in the national catalogue as present in Mumbai. Ask your child whether they enjoy caring for people, solving a problem or learning how a clinic works.
The KidZania concept uses kidZos in its miniature economy. Help children think about earning, spending and choosing, without taking over their decisions. Explain that the pretend currency and real admission or food spending are different things. A simple goal can make a shorter visit feel complete.
The operator sells a toddler-plus-adult category, but a ticket category is not proof that every role-play suits a two-year-old. Plan around available toddler activities and a calm pause. For mixed-age siblings, decide how adults will divide their attention before the older child joins a longer session.
The pricing page now advertises selected adult role-plays and bonus play, so old advice that adults can only watch may be outdated. Participation still depends on the selected activity and current rules. Children below eight must have an accompanying ticketed adult under the published conditions.
There are full-day, any-five-hour, any-three-hour and last-three-hour products. A cheaper late session has less flexibility if your favourite role-play has a queue. Arrive early enough to orient yourselves; choose a shorter product only when the end time and your children’s energy fit.
Outside food is prohibited under the published ticket conditions. Confirm any specific infant-food or dietary exception directly before arriving. Keep a separate food allowance and take the break before hunger turns choosing the next role into a struggle.
Editorial pacing advice; allow for queues, weather and your family’s energy.

Possibly, but it is a different visit from the main 4–16 role-play programme. Review the Mumbai toddler activity list and toddler-plus-adult ticket category before buying; do not assume a toddler can join every older-child activity.
The operator states that children below eight must be accompanied by an adult, and the adult needs a ticket. Check current supervision rules even for older children before making a drop-off plan.
Use your child’s stamina and the current activity schedule. A shorter ticket suits a focused first visit; a longer one gives room for queues and breaks. Neither duration guarantees completing a set number of jobs.
The October table on Explore KidZania Mumbai lists ₹1,400 for a child’s any-three-hour ticket and ₹1,600 for any five hours, before GST. An older Mumbai pricing page retains lower September figures. We use the newer October table; the selected date’s checkout total is the final purchase check.
The operator prohibits outside food. If infant feeding or a dietary need affects your visit, obtain the applicable exception directly before arrival instead of assuming mall food can be carried inside.
The operator explicitly lists Mumbai availability for its radio-jockey role. It describes a 25-minute recording activity, but this does not include queues or guarantee a particular batch. Check the day’s schedule and any participation requirements when you enter.
Normal child sessions and special adult/open-house events are different products. Consult the current adult-activity list and the conditions of your chosen date; an adult admission ticket alone is not a promise of unrestricted participation.
The published pricing terms say booked tickets cannot be refunded, cancelled or transferred. Read the exact terms before purchase and contact the operator about your situation; this guide cannot promise an exception.
Using the published reference, two ₹1,750 child tickets and two ₹750 adult tickets make ₹5,000 before GST, or ₹5,900 including 18%. This is arithmetic, not a guaranteed date-specific offer; add food and transport.
No. The last-three-hour product restricts you to the final part of the operating day. Choose it only after checking the closing time and whether your priority activities still admit participants.
